3 Dimensional Streetcar Sign Structure Created For The Toronto 2015 PanAm Games

Toronto 2015 PanAm Games

The big news for the summer of 2015 is that the Pan Am Games were held in Toronto Ontario.  Athletes from several different countries arrived in Toronto Ontario Canada to compete in several sporting events.

Several months before the big event was held, the Pan Am torch headed across Canada and even make a stop in front of the 3 dimensional Beertown Waterloo sign we manufactured. You can see the image on our FACEBOOK PAGE.

Once the Pan Am Games torch arrived in Toronto it was time for the games to begin!

Pan Am Games Athletes’ Village

Because thousands of athletes participate in the Pan Am Games an Athletes’ Village was created to house them during their stay in Canada.  Part of the residential area included a Food Court/Dining Area for the athletes.  Within that building a 3 dimensional sign structure of a replica streetcar was designed for the food court by Cricket Design and fabricated by the expert signmakers here at The Sign Depot.

See our installers in action on our FACEBOOK PAGE.

Here is how the 3 dimensional sign structure looked after the installation was completed.

Custom Wood Signs Become The 3 Dimensional Pieces To the Puzzle

Custom Wood Signs At The Sign Depot

Our upcoming project for the Air Canada Centre involves several different pieces coming together for the Lord Stanley’s Mug bar located in the building. As different as each of these materials are, putting the look together could get a bit puzzling. In order to head off such difficulties we pieced together our own puzzle.

Take a look at the tips of the custom wood sign pieces in the pic below to see what I mean.  A custom wood sign routered to make a 3 dimensional maple leaf is just the beginning of the steps required for this sculptural sign.  There will need to be logos and lights created to make this sign feature the beginning of a rebrand for the Lord Stanley’s Mug bar.  Below are a few pics of the custom sign making process for this project. You can keep up to date with the progress of this custom 3 dimensional sign by following this blog as well as our social media links that can be found on The Sign Depot Contact Us page

3 Dimensional Signs, Movie Pirates, Props And Creating A Pirate Crew

3 Dimensional Sign Props Can Create Quite A Stir

If you attended ComicCon this year you know that Pirates Of The Carribean franchaise is creating quite a stir.  This fascination for pirates has become a newest attraction at Dave and Buster’s Niagara Falls.  Captain Jack’s Mini Putt will be debuting on Clifton Hill and through the use of 3 dimensional signs it will make quite an impact on this high traffic area.

We heard Captain Jack Sparrow is in need of a new crew. I wonder if our Captain Jack and his pirate crew would be willing to partake in this new voyage?
