How A 3 Dimensional Sign Became A Brand Symbol

We love working with designers!  We take their works of art and make them into something that their clients can hold, display and admire.  Last month we changed the process a bit.  We had the opportunity to take a design firm’s logo and create a 3 dimesional reception sign for them.  The Cutegecko Graphic Design Agency had just acquired a space in The Tannery (a spot we have become very well acquainted with this year) and wanted something to display in the reception area that represented their graphic design business and serve as a warm welcome to those entering their renovated office space inside this historic building.

Getting Down To Business

After discussions about size, materials and colour the process sign manufacturing process began.  Below are the  pictures of their custom wood sign displayed in their new office.  To see the step by step photos of the sign’s contruction, make sure to tak a look at The Curly Blue Blog and read The Cutegecko Design Agency’s assesment of our custom sign work.

As you can see we were able to use a variety of professional sign making techniques in this artistic 3 dimensional sign.  With a mix of cnc routed wood and acrylic letters, the Cutegecko reception sign took shape and became a focal point for their new Kitchener Ontario design agency office.

Upon completion the designers at Cutegecko were just as thrilled at the results as we were.

 Logo Recognition

This reception sign has since been featured in a commercial, and in several online social networks.  It has become a symbol for their brand, and a recognized logo in the area.
