If you are coming from the KW Expressway head in direction of Waterloo and keep going. UPDATE DUE TO CONSTRUCTION – Keep going into Elmira on Arthur St. (the expressway becomes Arthur St in Elmira). Turn left at Church St. which is the intersection with the Shoppers Drug Mart (so when you see that turn left) that road becomes  LINE 86 so continue on that road (its a bit of a winding road for the first bit so be aware).

You will drive through several small towns, and we will be on your right side of the road.

NOTE: Some GPS systems list it as PERTH COUNTY RD (which is across the street from us).

Feel free to call 519-894-0890 or email accounting@sign-depot.on.ca for specific directions from your location.

Make the trip fun too and carpool with your friends!

For updates stay tuned on SOCIAL! @TheSignDepot #SDbbq2019

We’re also collecting items for our prize table. Let us know if you have a something you wish to donate for it by emailing accounting@sign-depot.on.ca

The Sign Depot’s Community Involvement – The Fans Have Spoken

The Sign Depot’s Community Involvement – The Fans Have Spoken

 Opening the Door

Last week the question was asked our SIGN DEPOT BLOG VIEWERS what they would like to see covered on the blog.  We receive answers on both the Facebook Fan page as well as on Twitter.

The answer with the most votes was OPEN HOUSE INFO.

We are holding our next Open House on Friday Sept 9th from 6:30-9:30pm in conjuction with the

140 Characters Conference Meetup

The 140 Chartacters Conference is coming to Canada for the first time and the event is being held at The Tannery.  We’re very familiar with that building in regards to reception signage, window graphics and wayfinding signs.

To celebrate the arrival of the 140 Conference in Canada, there are meetups being held all over Ontario this summer.  The final meetup will be held here 51 Borden Ave S. Kitchener Ontario.  Once again we are partnering with Little Mushroom Catering and I’m sure a few other friends will be involved along the way.

If you are interested in meeting lots of people from different parts of the province, please plan to drop by!  Make sure you RSVP at this link  http://guestlistapp.com/events/64371 so we can ensure there are enough munchies for everyone!

If you’re interested in learning more about the 140 Characters Conference make sure to watch the video below

You can see more vids about it in the playlist found here

You can also learn more by following #140confONT hashtag or becoming a fan of their page on Facebook.

You can learn more about The Sign Depot’s community involvement by visiting out Sign Blog and searching community.  You will quickly see how involved we are in our community.  We pride ourselves on being helpful to both the business and not for profit community.

As for our part in the 140 Characters Conference we will be providing wayfinding signage for the Conference and a great meetup leading up to the Conference.  We hope you’ll join on here on Sept 9th

Involved In Creating Community In This Creative Community

Involved In Our Community

Sign Depot has always been part of the local community, by providing donations to silent auctions, golf tournaments etc.    This has always been well received, but never quite matched how creative we can be.  Over the last year we chose some different community involvement projects which we hope provided a positive impact on the people living in this area. It’s amazing the impact one sign, or in this case one sign company can have.

It started last May with the Grand Opening of our new location.  We partnered with The Food Bank of Waterloo Region‘s newest endevour THE DIG IN CAMPAIGN.  We brought the community out to enjoy our new surroundings along with a BBQ lunch in return for their Food Bank Donations.

Some of our other new community involvement projects include

We do our best to support the community and encourage them to be creative as well.  Finding ways to be involved in our arts community, small business networks, chartiable organizations and not for profits are just some of the ways we give back. Always thinking of creative ways to be involved is something we hope many companies will implement. We are excited about some upcoming projects The Sign Depot will be supporting in the upcoming months, but we are just as excited to be a fun place to come and visit!  Just ask Darin White the winner of the Sign Depot WORD JUMBLE.
